How It Works
We aim to provide food, household, pet, clothing and best before items. We work with local businesses to help direct good food to those in need as well as taking donations from the public.
Every session is run by a team of volunteers who are on hand to guide those attending, instructions are also sign posted.
There are 3 sections within the Community Fridge, see below for more details:
We also offer many other services, please reach out if you have any questions or need other support.
What Can I Donate?
What?
Supporting the Keighley Community Fridge is easy, We welcome good quality, unopened, and in-date food items that you no longer need.
Whether it’s surplus from your weekly shop, or stock from a local business, your contribution makes a real difference.
How?
Just bring your items to the Keighley Community Fridge or drop off to Asda Keighley and leave them in the designated trolley near the check outs.
Our team of volunteers will collect these donations on a regular basis.
Everything is then stocked for the community to take.

Partnering with local businesses to help reduce food waste

About Us
The Keighley Community Fridge is an organisation devoted to providing essential services and support to those in need. Our holistic approach aims to bring hope, healing, and transformation to vulnerable populations through acts of love and compassion.
We are available to support our community and ensure that no one goes hungry. Our Community space is always stocked with food and household items. Our donations come from supermarkets, businesses, and individuals.
We as a community understand the struggle with the rising cost of living, that is why we are unique in offering our service to all members of the community whether they are employed or un-employed. If you are struggling to make ends meet, you are more than welcome to attend and take what you need.
Alongside this we are working with Supermarkets to help reduce the amount of perfectly good food that would otherwise go to waste.Join us in our mission to make a lasting impact and spread the message of peace.

Testimonial 1 (Family of 5)
The community fridge has been a source of food for my family over the past year. Without the help we would not be able to have Propper meals.
Testimonial 2 (25 years old)
Thank you to the community fridge team and to all the people who donate. I work part time and that just about covers bills, the support from this fridge helps me to put food on my table.
Testimonial 3 (Family of 3)
I came to this country as a refugee, I had nothing to feed my wife and 2 year old. Thank you to the amazing team I have been able to provide for my family. A special thank you to those people donating as they are making a huge difference to our lives.
